Painting has always been important to me; even from my early memories. It has always helped me materialize my emotions and visions. However, a picture itself does not always explicitly describe the artists` emotions when it is deviated to other purposes. I like to think that I am free when I create, although I bear in mind that every action is always more or less influenced by the surrounding world. There are constant elements recurring in my paintings such as bright colours, space and simplicity. Travelling has been useful in the development of my paintings and has opened my mind even more and more. I left my native country in 2000 and spent a year in Germany. I then spent a year in Ireland and came to England in 2002. I have now settled down in this country but I still try to travel as much as possible.
